N.O. Council on Aging
NOCOA exists to protect the rights, promote the well-being, and enhance the self-esteem of New Orleans' elderly by generating opportunities for self-reliance and independence.

PACE
PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) GNO enables frail older adults to live in their homes and in the community as long as medically and socially feasible. PACE GNO utilizes two facilities on the East and West banks of New Orleans.
Clover Adult Day Care
Clover Adult Day Care Program is a year-round, compassionate, hands-on, and holistic care for seniors and adults in our community.

Metropolitan Human Services District
MHSD provides respite for Caregivers, nursing home assessments, and individual and group therapy.
Office of Aging and Adult Services
OAAS was formed within the La. Department of Health as a healthcare reform initiative, bringing together all of the long-term care programs that serve older adults and people with adult-onset disabilities.

Members must be 62+ years of age and reside in Orleans Parish.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Lakeview Shepherd Center suggests a monthly $20 donation, which can be paid annually or on the first of the month. No one will be denied membership due to inability to donate.

Interested seniors are invited to visit any weekday during operating hours.

To sign-up as a member, seniors must complete an application packet and provide a valid photo ID and copy of your Social Security Benefits statement or other approved proof of income. These documents must be updated in our files annually to maintain membership.
